From grassroots to growth

Web Summit events are defined by the diversity of our communities. We’re proud to team up with local partners and initiatives to contribute to our dynamic tech ecosystem.

What can Collision do for your organization or community?

Collision gathers political figures, cultural icons and business leaders from around the world to confront the challenges facing society.

We want to partner with grassroots organizations, community builders and nonprofit organizations to bring in new ideas, ensuring each and every one of our events is a diverse and equitable space for all. Through a series of special ticket initiatives, we’re partnering with organizations to bring people together to discuss key issues at roundtables, to network with like-minded peers, and to learn at our masterclasses.

Who can be a community partner?

Community group or meetup

Do you run a meetup for entrepreneurs or tech enthusiasts in your community? Collision is interested in partnering with local groups to help bring community members to our event.

Global networks and ecosystem builders

Are you part of an international network of like-minded individuals hoping to make an impact? Our team can help the members of your network join our three-day event in June.

Universities and colleges

Whether it’s engineering, science, journalism, marketing or business, there’s a place for every higher education institution’s faculty at Collision.

Nonprofit organizations

We admire the people dedicated to making a difference, whether in their local community or on a global scale. That’s what Collision is all about, and that’s why we want nonprofits to be part of the action.

Examples of our past initiatives

Indigenous tech circle

In 2023, Collision partnered with the Indigenous Friends Association to create our first ever Indigenous attendee program meetup. This was a private gathering for members of the program, allowing those involved to meet one another and hold space for important conversations that are specific to the Indigenous communities in tech.

Athlete Technology Group

Athlete Technology Group’s mission is to strengthen athletes’ readiness for life after sport. It does this through a community platform that delivers on-demand programs curated for athletes. The organization aims to create impact and positive outcomes for athletes and the BIPOC community.

League of Innovators

League of Innovators is a national Canadian charity that empowers young people to be their own bosses, supporting their growth as entrepreneurs, innovators and changemakers. League of Innovators hosted a scholarship session and a masterclass at Collision in 2023.
